Bedford Cottage, High Wycombe

Following the construction of the basement for this luxury residential dwelling, cracks appeared in the superstructure. The Client approached PH Design to provide a professional opinion on the defects, their cause and a remedial strategy.

PH Design reviewed the design information present, the geotechnical data and reports available and re-analysed the structure to replicate the deformation using finite analysis. We provided a clear output detailing the issues and the next steps to help the clients move the project forward.

Norman Crescent, London

PH Design were contacted by the client to provide urgent help and support to address the Dangerous Structures Notice severed by the Local Authority following a serious site accident.

We worked with the Local Building Control department, HSE, Client and Contractor to ensure the site was evaluated and the necessary procedures were put in place for the project to recommence. We produced calculations, drawings, specifications along with a construction health and safety plan which were approved to allow the works to be completed in a safe and methodical manner.

We visited site, recording our observations and submitting these to the Local Authority for successful sign off.
