As Technical Director, Hardip led the engineering design team to deliver this award winning £80m refurbishment project in the heart of London. The design was driven using BIM and this led to the successful delivery of the project for luxury living in the capital.

THE CHALLENGE

In constructed site, the project included myriad of engineering challenges. This included demolition of the existing extensions at the rear, the design of a 3 level basement with elevator car parking and underground swimming pool, retained facade, refurbishment of the retained structure and high level of monitoring for ground movement during construction in this historically sensitive area.

PH Design were delighted to support our client in the development of their dream home on a huge brownfield site. We were able to provide the structural and underground drainage design associated with this new build development.

The project comprised 2 basement structures, and underground link tunnel. The super-structure design was delivered along with the reinforced concrete drawings and associated bar bending schedules. We also provided significant support to conclude the party walls awards.
